Naturally you're going to want to swap your scales on the Lander 4 EDC knife. Which means you're going to have to remove the lanyard and Booster Bead. And this is where customizing your stuff gets interesting because if you want your lanyard back, you'll have to retie that Snake Knot. Not hard, but definitely not convenient either. Richlite is a paper-based material similar to paper micarta. Richlite differs from regular micarta in a few key ways, but here are the things you need to know: it's impact resistant, lightweight, gives a good grip, water resistant, and it also patinas beautifully. Because Richlite is made from composites of different organic material, each handle is going to have a unique look which means no two knives will look the same.
